Directional Drilling

The following illustrations are from the Penn Township Waste Water Force Main project in Chester County, PA. The project's total scope of work included the installation of approximately 4,000 linear feet of 6" HDPE pipe (99% of the pipe was installed using the directional drilling method), 2 Air-Release Manholes, and connection to the treatment plant.

We are now going to start at the exit pit and follow the drill path back to the drill and along the way view the terrain that we drilled underneath. This is the same bore mentioned in the "Bore Planning" page of the website. 525' of 6" HDPE was installed underneath the Northbound and Southbound lanes of PA Rt. 1, a creek, and approximately 260' of woodland in Jennersville, PA.
